Autumn is here!
Well, moving forward, Autumn is here, leaves are falling,
the garden has been put to sleep for the winter, the end of year harvest is in.
Im, for sure, going to miss my home grown tomates and zucchini.
The Elections debates are underway.

Labor Day ~ End of Summer ~!
The weekend is winding down .. the weather has truly been glorious.
My garden is wild .. for lack of a better term, and I know soon it will settle down into the 'Autumn' look. The colors changing .. this is such a visual season for me ..!!
This week, has been a political bonanza to say the least.
The Democratic nomination of Mr Obama was history in the making.
Then we have the Republican rebuttal with Ms. Palin ..
My dearest and oldest friend Kat and I were on the phone ranting and raving watching history unfold on TV ...
Though I know a lot of people are over saturated with all the political hoopla, if you are interested in an honest and refreshing view point, please visit a friend of mine's blog Ms Sarah Campbell over at the Herbs from the Labyrinth Blog and read:: Two messages from Starhawk at the Republican National Convention.

Speaking of which .. I have been watching some movies that really were an eye opener.
'Stop Loss' and 'Kite Runner' .. two very moving and intense movies. I am not into watching war movies or anything violent. However, these are stories that need to be heard.

Monsanto to dump rBGH!!
This is great news.!! I urge you to read this article, it is a Victory for sure for the consumers of this country. Please go to : Consumer Victory: Monsanto to Dump rBGH.
Monsanto has been lobbying state legislatures and departments of argiculture around the country to harass dairies that won't use Posilac (the trade name for rBGH). Monsanto wants to take away dairies' right to tell consumers they're rBGH-free.
Please take the time to go to your state action center to lean more and take action.
