Happy 2009.! Its a New Year.!

When I used to think of 2000 anything .. it was so 'futuristic' .. a SciFi sort of feeling. Now here we are 2009 ... hoping the economy will turn around, the financial situation has been the worst ever in the history of this country, I pray the wars will end, our soldiers home safe.

SunRose is going into our 11th year .. it feels like just yesterday that I was starting out. Only a few oils .. learning .. and playing and learning some more. The evolution over the years was slow and steady, adding more materials as time went on. Formulating products when the need arose for myself, family, friends, clients.

It has been a wonderful and exciting journey. Many thanks to all that have be supportive of my work. And a special thanks to Sheila Concepcion & Johanna Tramo the SunRose Staff .. they make all things possible.

Steps to Winterize your skin!
- shorten your shower - w/ lukewarm water. (not hot)
- exfoliate to remove the dead skin for keeping skin replenished.
- be sure to moisturize your body while you skin is still damp.
- tone your face, the area most battered by the wind.
- don't forget to use sunscreen, it is just as important in the winter
- to avoid the 'winter itch' .. dressing warm in layers, avoid wool or other scratchy fabrics next to your skin.
- be sure to protect your hands from the winter cold and wear gloves.
