Mother's Day - Give A Way !

This is a day to celebrate our Mom's.

'Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human
being to do the impossible.'
- Marion C. Garretty, quoted in ::
'A Little Spoonful of Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul'

My Mom was a very strong woman, intelligent, wise beyond her years, empowering, loving and funny Lady. Yes .. we had our little 'spats' as all children do, however,
she was the one who always told me to reach for the stars. And I miss her .. every single day.

So, whether you are a Mom, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Sister, Friend .. we celebrate you .!! for your loving and nurturing ways.

Please be sure to post a comment on this blog post to enter into our Mother's Day Give A Way.! Make sure to leave your email address so that we may contact you.

The Travel Chest is really beautifully made from a local gentleman whose passion is to create beauty from wood. Thank you Rudy Gunther for your magical hands.!

Oh .. and don't forget to pass this on to your family and friends.!

My mom is no longer with us but she really left her mark. I can't help but to think of her when I'm just doing everyday tasks. :-)

The chest is absolutely beautiful!

This travel chest is beautiful. What a wonderful addition it would make for anyone who uses essential oils. I would love to be included in this giveaway. My mother is no longer with us, but I am the mother of 6.

What a wonderful chest to put your precious essential oils in. I have a daughter that is the mother of 2 beautiful girls age 4 and 2 and she really needs a box to put all of her oils in for these girls. I hope I win this beautiful hand made box for her.

thanks

Roe I know how close you were to your Mom, and how you still miss her. In all honesty, I envy the relationship you had with her. Your post was lovely.

Hi Rosanne,
Great blog post. Celebrating Mother's Day is a wonderful way to recognize and show tremendous respect and appreciation for all moms. I recently wrote about my mom on my blog, here is a portion of it.

My mom now has Alzheimer's disease and she has deteriorated quickly. One year ago before she started slipping away, I was fortunate to tell her "I love you." We hugged and she said "I love you too." Saying I love you to my mom was hard for me, it was easier to write in a card. I pushed myself past my comfort zone and instead of waiting for my mom to say I love you to me, I said it first. I received what I had wanted to hear for a long time from my mom. I now have no regrets, I said what I needed to say.

Yesterday I gave my mom a hug and I said "I love you" and even though she did not know who I was, she said, "I love you too."

I celebrated Mother's Day early this year by sending my daughter, a mother, your essential oil for headaches. She is thrilled with the product and is looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day headache-free this year. Thank you!

What a beautiful giveaway and lovely post about your mother. I cherish my mom & love to do special things for her on Mother's Day as well as any time of the year.

I have recently introduced her to the use of essential oils & this would be a great way for her to keep them stored.

Mom has been gone over 3 years now, but I still reach for the phone almost daily to tell her something.

Reading everyone's thoughts of their Moms is great.
